The Lyman Brass Smith Precision Funnel Set is a caliber-specific powder funnel system for rifle cartridge reloading. It uses precision-machined aluminium inserts that fit the case neck for the selected cartridge, providing a dedicated funnel opening for each supported caliber.

The funnel uses an aluminium body with turned aluminium components. In addition, the set uses CNC-turned inserts that match the case neck rather than relying on a single universal opening.

The included inserts cover .22, .243/6mm, .25/6.5mm, .270/7mm, .30 and .338 caliber rifle cartridges. Therefore, the set supports several common rifle case sizes with one funnel body and multiple interchangeable inserts.

Each insert can be fitted and removed by hand. As a result, changing between supported calibers does not require replacing the complete funnel.

The inserts also carry laser-marked caliber identification. Furthermore, these markings provide a quick reference when selecting the correct insert for a particular cartridge case.

A handle provides a firm grip while transferring powder into a prepared case. Because the insert fits around the case neck, the funnel stays positioned over the case opening while powder passes into the case.

The funnel transfers powder into cartridge cases but does not measure powder charges. Therefore, use a suitable scale when checking powder charge weights.
