The Lynx LX3 3-12×56 SAH is a hunting riflescope designed for general hunting, low-light conditions and longer-range applications. It combines 3–12x magnification with a 56mm objective lens for a versatile hunting setup.

The 3–12x magnification range provides flexibility across different shooting distances. At lower magnification, the wider field of view helps with closer targets. At higher magnification, the increased magnification provides greater target detail.

In addition, the 56mm objective lens works with the optical system to provide a bright and clear sight picture. The scope also uses extra low dispersion glass and fully multi-coated lenses to provide good optical clarity and contrast.

Furthermore, the scope features a 30mm main tube and 1/4 MOA adjustment clicks. Therefore, shooters can make precise elevation and windage corrections when setting up their rifle.

The scope uses a fixed 150m parallax setting. As a result, it provides a practical focus point for hunting across a broad range of shooting distances.

The illuminated SA Hunter reticle provides practical aiming references for hunting applications. In addition, it provides holdover points for elevation and windage corrections.

The reticle is calibrated in metres for distance and km/h for wind. Furthermore, the bold reticle lines provide clear reference points in lower light, while the centre aiming point can be illuminated when required.

Because the SA Hunter reticle provides additional holdover references, it can help simplify aiming corrections at longer distances. Therefore, the shooter can use the reticle for practical elevation and windage references without relying only on turret adjustments.

SAH Turrets and Adjustment

The elevation and windage turrets use a 1/4 MOA click value. In addition, both adjustment systems provide 60 MOA of total adjustment range.

The scope provides 60 MOA of elevation adjustment and 60 MOA of windage adjustment. Therefore, the adjustment range provides useful flexibility for a variety of hunting applications.

The parallax is fixed at 150m. As a result, the scope does not require a separate parallax adjustment when changing between typical hunting distances.

The scope uses a black hard-anodised aluminium tube and a 30mm main tube. In addition, it provides waterproof protection with a stated submersion rating of 1m for up to 60 minutes.

Furthermore, the LX3 is dry-nitrogen purged for fog resistance and has a recoil resistance rating of 1000G. Therefore, it provides a durable platform for demanding hunting conditions.

At 380mm long and 721g in weight, the scope has a substantial 56mm-objective hunting design. For this reason, the rifle, mounting system and intended application should all be considered when selecting this optic.

Lynx LX3 for Hunting

The Lynx LX3 riflescope suits hunting applications where a versatile 3–12x magnification range and large objective lens are useful. It can also suit low-light hunting where optical brightness and an illuminated centre aiming point are important.

When mounting the scope, use compatible 30mm scope rings or a suitable 30mm scope mount. Also, check the required ring height and mounting position before installation.
