Product Description

The Lyman Case Lube Kit provides the tools needed to lubricate cartridge cases and clean case mouths before resizing. It combines a large cloth lubrication pad, case lubricant, interchangeable neck brushes and a cushioned handle in one compact kit.

Furthermore, the pad distributes lubricant evenly across the case body, while the neck brushes allow the case mouth to receive controlled lubrication. As a result, the kit provides a practical case-preparation solution for reloaders working with a range of rifle and handgun cartridges.

Lyman Case Lube Kit Features

The large cloth pad sits in a plastic case and provides a stable surface for applying lubricant. In addition, the cushioned handle accepts three interchangeable neck brushes for different case-neck sizes.

The included Lyman Case Lube is supplied in a 2 oz container. Therefore, the kit provides both the application tool and lubricant required for a basic case-lubrication process.

The three neck brushes cover .22–.27, .35–.40 and .44/.45 calibre case necks. Consequently, the kit can accommodate several common cartridge sizes without requiring a separate brush for each calibre.

Case Lubrication for Reloading

Case lubricant reduces friction between the brass case and sizing die during resizing. Therefore, applying an even film of lubricant helps the case move smoothly through the sizing operation.

To use the kit, apply a suitable amount of lubricant to the pad and roll the case body across its surface. Next, use the appropriate neck brush when internal neck lubrication is required.

Furthermore, avoid excessive lubricant. Too much lubricant can leave residue on the case and may affect the resizing process. Follow the instructions supplied with the lubricant and sizing equipment.
