Lyman Gen6

The Lyman Gen6 is a compact electronic powder dispensing system that combines a precision electronic scale with an automatic powder dispenser. It has a 1,500-grain capacity and measures charges to 0.1 grain, while its compact design uses up to 50% less bench space than larger powder systems.

Lyman Gen6 Features

The system uses a touch-screen control panel with a backlit display. Therefore, the user can enter the required charge weight and monitor the dispensing process from the front of the unit.

The dispenser works at up to 2 grains per second. In addition, it slows the powder flow as the charge approaches the selected weight, helping the system reach the target charge with greater control.

The scale has a 1,500-grain capacity and measures to 0.1 grain. Furthermore, the unit can operate as a stand-alone electronic scale when the dispensing function is not required.

The automatic repeat function adds another useful feature. Once the user removes and replaces the powder pan, the system can start the next charge automatically. As a result, the feature can reduce repeated manual input during a longer loading session.

The system also includes anti-static and anti-drift technology. In addition, electronic shielding helps reduce the effect of interference from nearby electronic devices such as mobile phones and computers.

Lyman designed the unit with access for both right- and left-handed users. Therefore, the powder pan and touch-screen controls remain easy to reach from either side.

The quick-drain system makes powder changes easier. Instead of leaving powder in the reservoir, the user can drain the system before changing to another powder.

The system has a fast 3-minute warm-up period. After warm-up, the user can enter a target charge and begin the dispensing cycle.
