SSG Single Basic Rifle Bag Camo 52″

SSG Single Basic Rifle Bag Features

The SSG Single Basic Rifle Bag Camo is a 52-inch padded rifle bag for standard scoped hunting rifles and shotguns. It combines high-density foam padding with robust YKK zippers and a durable outer fabric. In addition, the bag includes a cleaning rod holder and provides a practical way to carry and protect a rifle during transport and storage.

The 52-inch length gives the bag useful capacity for longer hunting-rifle configurations. In practical use, this size accommodates 26-inch barreled rifles and also accommodates rifles with a 24-inch barrel and silencer. Therefore, the 52-inch size works well for many longer hunting-rifle setups.

SSG also produces the Basic Rifle Bag range in 48″, 50″, 52″ and 54″ sizes. As a result, the 54-inch option provides additional length when a rifle has a greater overall length or when the 52-inch version does not provide enough room.

Rifle Bag Construction and Use

The bag uses enhanced high-density foam padding to provide protection around the rifle. Furthermore, robust YKK zippers run along the bag and provide secure closure.

The outer fabric provides a durable protective layer, while the padded design helps protect the rifle during handling and transport. In addition, the cleaning rod holder gives the user a dedicated place for carrying a cleaning rod.

SSG describes this range as spacious enough for most standard hunting rifles while remaining compact enough for storage in tight spaces. For example, the bag can suit storage behind a bakkie seat where space remains limited. It also accommodates a standard scoped hunting rifle or shotgun.

The SSG Single Basic Rifle Bag in 52 inches therefore provides a useful balance between rifle length and compact storage. However, overall rifle length can vary according to the stock, action, scope and silencer. Consequently, unusually long rifle configurations should be measured before selecting a bag.
