Product Description

The Akra Genesis X 5-25×56 FFP MRAD is a first focal plane riflescope designed for precision shooting, long-range applications and hunting. It combines 5–25x magnification with a 56mm objective lens for a versatile shooting setup.

The 5–25x magnification range provides flexibility across different shooting distances. At lower magnification, the wider field of view helps with closer targets. At higher magnification, the increased magnification provides greater target detail.

In addition, the 56mm objective lens works with the optical system to provide a clear sight picture. The scope also uses Japanese ED glass to provide good optical clarity and contrast.

Furthermore, the scope features a 34mm main tube and 0.1 MRAD adjustment clicks. Therefore, shooters can make precise elevation and windage corrections when setting up their rifle.

The first focal plane design keeps the reticle’s subtensions consistent throughout the magnification range. As a result, shooters can use the reticle for holdovers and ranging at different magnification settings.

The PROComp etched reticle features a fine floating centre dot for precise aiming. In addition, it uses 0.2 MRAD subtensions for detailed aiming corrections.

Bold markings at each full MIL provide quick reference points. Furthermore, 0.5 MRAD indicators help with holdover and correction references.

Because the reticle remains in the first focal plane, its subtensions maintain their relationship with the target throughout the magnification range. Therefore, the shooter can use the reticle for consistent holdovers and corrections.

MRAD Turrets and Zero Stop

The elevation and windage turrets use a 0.1 MRAD click value. In addition, the elevation turret includes a Zero Stop system.

The scope provides 35 MIL of elevation adjustment and 22 MIL of windage adjustment. Therefore, the adjustment range suits a variety of long-range shooting applications.

The parallax adjustment starts at 20 yards and extends to infinity. As a result, the shooter can adjust the scope for both shorter and longer shooting distances.

The scope uses an aircraft-grade aluminium housing and a 34mm main tube. In addition, it carries an IPX7 waterproof rating for protection in demanding conditions.

Furthermore, the Genesis X has a shock resistance rating of up to 10,000g. Therefore, it can handle demanding use on suitable rifles.

At 403mm long and 1,100g in weight, the scope has a substantial precision-optic design. For this reason, the rifle, mounting system and intended application should all be considered when selecting this optic.

The Genesis X riflescope suits precision shooting, long-range target shooting, PRS and NRL22 applications. It can also suit hunting applications where the magnification range and scope size match the rifle and shooting conditions.
