Hornady Powder Funnel

The Hornady Powder Funnel is a manual reloading accessory for transferring powder into cartridge cases. Its anti-static design fits calibres from .22 through .45, while the squared rim helps keep the funnel stable on the reloading bench.

Hornady Powder Funnel Features

The funnel fits cartridge cases from .22 through .45 calibre. Therefore, one funnel can cover a broad range of common rifle and handgun cases within that size range.

Its anti-static design helps reduce static-related powder cling. In addition, the wide opening provides a practical way to transfer powder from a scale pan or other suitable container into the case.

The squared rim adds another useful feature. As a result, the funnel is less likely to roll across the bench when the user sets it down.

Hornady lists the Powder Funnel as item 586051 in its current 2026 product catalogue. Furthermore, Hornady places it among its general reloading accessories.

The simple design requires no batteries or other power source. Therefore, the funnel can form part of a basic manual powder-charging setup.

Product Details

The Hornady Powder Funnel provides a direct path for transferring powder into a cartridge case. Therefore, it can help reduce spills when the user moves a measured charge from a scale pan into the case.

The funnel suits cases between .22 and .45 calibre. However, users should confirm that the funnel fits the particular case mouth before use, especially when working with less common cartridges.

The anti-static construction helps limit powder sticking to the funnel surface. In addition, the design makes the accessory useful when charging individual cases from a separate powder scale.

The squared rim provides added bench stability. Meanwhile, the compact design takes little space among other reloading tools.

Hornady lists the accessory as a standalone Powder Funnel rather than as part of its Premium Powder Funnel Kit. The Premium kit uses an aluminium funnel with nine calibre-specific bushings and carries a separate item number, 586059.
