Product Description

The Akra Origin 1-10×28 SFP MRAD is a second focal plane LPVO designed for hunting, tactical shooting and competition. It combines true 1x magnification with a 28mm objective lens and extends to 10x for greater target detail at longer distances.

At 1x, the scope provides a wide sight picture that supports rapid target acquisition and both-eyes-open shooting. At higher magnification, the 10x setting provides more detail for precise shot placement. As a result, the Origin can cover a wide range of shooting distances.

In addition, the 28mm objective lens keeps the optic compact while providing a useful balance between size and optical performance. The scope uses ED glass and fully multi-coated lenses to improve clarity, contrast and light transmission.

Furthermore, the scope has a 34mm main tube and exposed low-profile turrets. The turrets use 1/10 MIL clicks. Therefore, the shooter can make precise elevation and windage corrections when required.

The second focal plane design keeps the reticle at a constant size as magnification changes. Because of this, the TAC1 reticle provides a consistent aiming pattern while the scope moves from 1x to 10x.

The TAC1 SFP MRAD reticle provides a simple aiming system for fast target acquisition and longer-range corrections. In addition, the reticle uses 0.5 MRAD subtensions between the hash marks for holdover and windage references.

The reticle also features an illuminated floating centre dot. Furthermore, the diamond-shaped aiming point provides a clear central reference without covering a large part of the target.

Because the reticle uses a second focal plane design, its subtensions remain fixed as magnification changes. Therefore, the reticle provides a familiar aiming reference throughout the 1–10x range.

MRAD Turrets and Adjustment Range

The scope uses exposed low-profile turrets with a 1/10 MIL click value. In addition, the total elevation and windage adjustment range is 29 MIL.

The turrets allow the shooter to make precise corrections for elevation and windage. Therefore, the adjustment system can support both close-range shooting and longer-distance applications.

The parallax is set at 100 yards. As a result, the optic is configured as a simple LPVO system without a separate side-focus adjustment.

The scope uses an aircraft-grade aluminium housing for a balance of strength and weight. In addition, the fully multi-coated optical system helps reduce glare and improve light transmission.

Furthermore, the Origin has an IPX7 waterproof rating and fogproof performance from -20°C to +50°C. The scope also carries a shock rating of 10,000g across 20,000 impacts. Therefore, it is designed to handle demanding field and shooting conditions.

At approximately 265mm long and 659g in weight, the Origin remains relatively compact for a 1–10x LPVO. For this reason, it can suit rifles where a wide magnification range is required without using a large precision scope.

The Akra Origin 1-10×28 SFP MRAD suits hunting, tactical shooting, competition and general range use. In addition, the true 1x setting provides a wide view for closer targets, while the 10x setting gives more target detail when distance increases.

The illuminated TAC1 reticle provides a clear aiming reference in changing light. Meanwhile, the MRAD subtensions provide holdover and windage references when corrections are needed.

When mounting the scope, use the supplied 34mm medium Picatinny-style rings or another compatible 34mm mounting system. Also, check the ring height and mounting position before installation.
