Lynx LX3 2.5-15×50 Tactical MilRad

Product Description

The Lynx LX3 2.5-15×50 Tactical MilRad is a tactical-style riflescope designed for hunting, precision shooting and applications where a wide magnification range and practical ranging features are useful. It combines 2.5–15x magnification with a 50mm objective lens and a 30mm one-piece main tube.

The 2.5–15x magnification range provides flexibility across different shooting distances. At 2.5x, the wide field of view helps with closer targets and faster target acquisition. At higher magnification, the 15x setting provides greater target detail for longer-range shooting. As a result, the scope can cover both relatively close shots and extended-range applications.

Lynx LX3 2.5-15×50 Tactical MilRad Riflescope

In addition, the scope uses extra-low-dispersion glass and fully multi-coated lenses to provide clear, bright images with good contrast. The generous eye relief also helps provide a forgiving sight picture during extended use.

Furthermore, the 30mm one-piece main tube provides a strong mounting platform and suits a wide range of compatible scope rings. The long main tube also provides useful mounting flexibility on longer-action rifles.

The scope uses tactical-style adjustment controls with 0.1 MRAD clicks. Therefore, the shooter can make measured elevation and windage corrections while using the same MRAD system as the reticle.

Lynx LX3 2.5-15×50 Tactical MilRad Reticle

The MRAD15 reticle is one of the key features of this scope. It is graduated in MRAD and uses 1 MRAD and 0.5 MRAD references for elevation and windage corrections.

In addition, the centre of the reticle features a floating circle and dot. Both can be illuminated green, providing a clear aiming reference when lighting conditions become less favourable. Furthermore, the centre circle and dot can be used for either quick target acquisition or more precise aiming.

A particularly useful feature is the integrated ranging scale at the bottom of the sight picture. The scale is calibrated for a 50cm-high target from 200 to 1,200 metres, using 100-metre increments. It also provides references for 33cm and 25cm targets from 200 to 600 metres. Therefore, the reticle provides a practical ranging function without requiring the shooter to rely entirely on a separate rangefinder.

The ranging system is intended for use at 15x magnification. As a result, the shooter can use the calibrated scale consistently when estimating target distance.

MRAD Turrets and Zero Stop

The elevation and windage controls use 0.1 MRAD clicks. In addition, one complete turret revolution moves the point of aim by 5 MRAD, matching the measured centre section of the reticle.

The tactical controls feature large, highly visible engraved numbers. Therefore, the selected adjustment setting is easier to read in poor light or when quick turret identification is important. This is a particularly useful feature for shooters who regularly dial elevation rather than relying solely on reticle holdovers.

The elevation turret also incorporates an easy-to-engage zero-stop system. As a result, the shooter can make elevation corrections and then return precisely to the predetermined zero position.

The scope provides approximately 17.5 MRAD of elevation adjustment and 17.5 MRAD of windage adjustment. Furthermore, the 0.1 MRAD click value provides fine adjustment for both zeroing and longer-range corrections.

Lynx LX3 2.5-15×50 Tactical MilRad Scope

The scope uses a 30mm one-piece main tube manufactured from hard-anodised aluminium. In addition, the optical system uses fully multi-coated lenses to support brightness and image clarity.

The side-focus parallax adjustment operates from approximately 35 metres to beyond infinity. Therefore, the shooter can adjust the focus for closer targets as well as longer-range shooting.

The scope provides approximately 98–99mm of eye relief across the magnification range. Furthermore, the field of view extends from approximately 8.22° at low magnification to 1.42° at high magnification. Therefore, the lower power setting provides a broad sight picture while the 15x setting provides greater target detail.

The scope is also nitrogen purged, waterproof and recoil resistant to 1000G. As a result, it is designed for demanding outdoor use across changing environmental conditions.

At approximately 381mm long and 780g, the LX3 provides a substantial but practical platform for hunting and precision applications.

Lynx LX3 2.5-15×50 Tactical MilRad for Hunting and Precision Shooting

The Lynx LX3 2.5-15×50 Tactical MilRad suits hunters and shooters who want a combination of close-range flexibility, longer-range magnification and an integrated ranging reticle. In addition, the 2.5x low-end magnification provides a much wider field of view than many higher-powered tactical scopes.

The MRAD15 ranging reticle is particularly useful for shooters who want both holdover references and target-distance estimation within the same sight picture. Meanwhile, the illuminated floating circle and dot provide a distinct central aiming reference.

The large tactical turret markings make adjustment values easier to identify, while the 0.1 MRAD clicks provide precise corrections. Furthermore, the zero-stop system allows the elevation turret to return to the established zero after making corrections for distance.

When mounting the scope, use compatible 30mm scope rings or a suitable 30mm scope mount. Also, check the required ring height and mounting position before installation.
