Product Description

The Arken EP5 5-25×56 VPR FFP Mil iR is a first focal plane riflescope designed for long-range shooting, precision applications and hunting. It combines 5–25x magnification with a 56mm objective lens and a 34mm main tube.

The 5–25x magnification range provides flexibility across different shooting distances. At lower magnification, the wider field of view helps with target acquisition and closer shooting. At higher magnification, the 25x setting provides greater target detail for longer-range shooting. As a result, the EP5 offers a versatile magnification range for both hunting and precision shooting.

In addition, the scope uses Japanese ED glass to provide a clear and detailed sight picture. The 56mm objective lens also supports good image detail at higher magnification.

Furthermore, the scope features a 34mm main tube and 0.1 MIL adjustment clicks. Therefore, shooters can make precise elevation and windage corrections when setting up their rifle or dialing for distance.

The first focal plane design keeps the VPR reticle’s subtensions consistent in relation to the target as magnification changes. Because of this, the reticle remains useful for holdovers and corrections throughout the 5–25x magnification range.

The VPR MIL reticle provides a structured aiming system for long-range shooting. In addition, its holdover grid supplies elevation and windage references below the central aiming point.

The reticle features a fine central aiming point and additional MIL references for elevation and wind correction. Furthermore, the VPR design provides a practical balance between detailed holdover information and a relatively open central aiming area.

Because the reticle is positioned in the first focal plane, its subtensions remain correctly scaled in relation to the target at different magnification settings. Therefore, shooters can use the reticle’s holdover references throughout the full 5–25x range.

The reticle also features red illumination. As a result, the central aiming references can remain easier to identify when lighting conditions become less favourable.

MRAD Turrets and Zero Stop

The elevation and windage turrets use a 0.1 MIL click value. In addition, the elevation turret incorporates the Arken Zero Stop (AZS) system.

The scope provides 32 MIL of elevation adjustment and 16 MIL of windage adjustment. Furthermore, the turrets provide 10 MIL of adjustment per revolution. Therefore, the adjustment system offers substantial correction capacity for long-range shooting.

The side-focus parallax adjustment extends from 25 yards to infinity. As a result, the shooter can adjust the scope for both closer shooting distances and extended-range applications.

The scope uses an aircraft-grade aluminium housing and a 34mm main tube. In addition, the IP67 rating provides protection against dust and water ingress, while nitrogen purging helps reduce internal fogging.

Furthermore, the scope provides approximately 3.4 inches of eye relief and a field of view of 25.3–4.9 feet at 100 yards. Therefore, the optic provides a wider view at lower magnification while offering greater target detail at higher settings.
